After hearing Wilson on "Loose Ends" (BBC Radio 4), went to see him in Manchester (UK) last night... unforgettable!

There was a technical hitch... not only didn't it faze him, with his guitar miked up via a handheld mike taped to his leg, in his southern drawl he shouted to the back of the room:

"Hey! Can you turn the leg down?"

He had the room in stitches :D

I saw Wilson twice during the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe and it was a pleasure to be allowed (and able) to laugh twice at his set. Here's hoping to some decent telly exposure and audience awareness for the very talented and cleverly funny Mr Dixon.

Wilson Dixon came from a Colorado backwater to a one horse town in Devon. Singin' bout the simple folk and their weird and quirky ways-seemed to fit right in. Fantastic act. Ya'll come back, now.

Hi folks, I've had the pleasure of Wilson entertaining here at our annual rangers xmas camp over. He was a joy to behold as he played tunes all through the night whilst we sat by the fire and toasted marshmellows. He took it easy on the beers and cleaned up after himself. A real country star!
