Hiya Wilson,
My daughter and i saw you last Friday in Lincoln. Wanted to say, 'What a great show.' A real privilege to see you live. Unfortunately, missed my chance to get a signed copy of your CD. By the time I got my money from the car you had gone. All the success in the world to you.

Hello there wilson ......... Damb it i was suppossed to start this comment with something witty and humourous to start us off on the right foot but ive drawn a blank (pun intended) (there is no pun just trying to confuse you) any way you seem like a nice enough guy so anytime you come a wandering over to the north shore maybe you could visit your friend dan and give him some advice (as a 13 year old aspiring comedian im sure he'd appreciate it) so then ....... Damb it i was meant to end the comment with some thing witty and humourous and ive drawn a blank (pun intended).

I die with laughter over and over when I hear these songs - I am so glad that I managed to catch the name in the Comedy Gala and find the stuff online (even if I did misspell it on my first attempt at Google). Absolutely side-splitting - and it also proves that you don't have to be crass and rude to make people laugh. All of this means that I tend to watch the comedy galas pretty much *solely* to hear Wilson Dixon's particular brand of home-spun madness.

Ah ha...I finally found you on the interweb...I taped the Comedy festival last year and keep watching it - you are one funny cowboy!! Although it would have made far more sense to look up your name straight away - there are plenty of things to get sidetracked by in a little town in the North Island of NZ, and plus it takes a little patience to look stuff up when the sun is shining and the ocean is calling. Anyway today it's raining and I decided I had to find you and get an album (is a CD still called an album?) of your fine work. You rock.

Hi, just saw your show on Monday 6/4/09, it was absolutely brilliant. Just wanted to say thanks for making me laugh so much - and we saw that you seemed shattered about the last song, don't worry at all, cos I actually thought it was part of it, that you'd forgotten, cos that's what old people do, forget! Play up the dementia bit, it works!
Again, thanks for a great show, you're definitely my fav so far for the festival.

After hearing Wilson on "Loose Ends" (BBC Radio 4), went to see him in Manchester (UK) last night... unforgettable!
There was a technical hitch... not only didn't it faze him, with his guitar miked up via a handheld mike taped to his leg, in his southern drawl he shouted to the back of the room:
"Hey! Can you turn the leg down?"
He had the room in stitches :D
WELL worth going to see!
All the best, Wilson :)

Caught your act last night at Ealing Studios, Wilson. You're the best thing to hit Ealing in some time. Great show.
BTW: If you don't have windows on the tube train, how do you know which station you're in? Caused a bit of confusion that joke. ;-)

Wilson Dixon came from a Colorado backwater to a one horse town in Devon. Singin' bout the simple folk and their weird and quirky ways-seemed to fit right in. Fantastic act. Ya'll come back, now.

Wilson you are a smart comedian. And sexy. I'm coming to your show again because years ago when you did another show at the Classic you spoke insightfully and looked me in the eyes. I like those things about a man.
I see you have the same effect on many. Sigh. Will have to be content with just basking in the glow of your show and admiring from afar.

Hi folks, I've had the pleasure of Wilson entertaining here at our annual rangers xmas camp over. He was a joy to behold as he played tunes all through the night whilst we sat by the fire and toasted marshmellows. He took it easy on the beers and cleaned up after himself. A real country star!
